To this regard, Rene Freling, General Manager of local deals UK at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.travelzoo.com\/uk\/\">Travelzoo<\/a>, asks an important question stating that \u201cit is crucial that spas have a strategy of how to handle this extra volume. Do they have enough space?\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Referring to the same issue, Lopo Champalimaud, Co-founder of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wahanda.com\/\">Wahanda<\/a>, argues that his company \u201calways advises operators to be aware of capacity, because, if they can\u2019t cope with the numbers, that leads to bad reputation\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">As far as profitability goes, Justin Musgrove, Group Spa Director at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bannatyne.co.uk\/\">Bannatyne Fitness Ltd<\/a>. says that \u201coperators shouldn\u2019t be seduced by high head counts unless there\u2019s a profitability at the bottom line\u201d. In the same way, Nicky Noble , Co-founder of Scin Beauty Spa, states that it is important to have a balance in the strategy because \u201crunning your whole business on deals doesn\u2019t make financial sense\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In the end, it is very important for the spa to get a real feeling of the benefits that online deals can provide. Without a clear strategy, online deals can create more harm than good. As Nicky Noble puts it, \u201ceach spa or salon is different and owners need to think about what they\u2019re trying to achieve and what will work for them\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>A business alternative to be used wisely<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">At Spa Balance we have always been slightly reluctant or against sites like Groupon as it normally decreases the perceived value of spas.
